Ningbo Baoxin Stainless Steel Co., Ltd., which is cold rolled stainless steel sheet maker and is invested from Nisshin Steel or Bao Steel, will start production of stainless steel tube for automobile. The firm got the land with 90,000 square meters near east area, and constructs the plant with the capacity of 10,000 tonnes per year. New plant is constructed and starts the operation in the ended of March 2008.Because the firm calculates Chinese stainless steel market, the firm advances the field of stainless steel tube. The firm had been expanded the production capacity of cold rolled stainless steel sheet to 600,000 tonnes per year. The firm will process some stainless steel sheet to a tube and secures expanding local demand for automobile. The firm introduces one micro wave welding tube manufacture line with the capacity of 7,500 tonnes per year and one laser-welding tube manufacture line with the capacity of 2,500 tonnes in new plant. New plant supplies the products to local car components makers as a component for vehicle emission. Nisshin Steel said the firm responses the request for engineering assistance from users.Ningbo Baoxin Stainless Steel’s output was 430,000 tonnes in 2006. The firm got into a black figure in the last half of 2006 for the first time. The firm’s recurring profit was 2.5 billion yen at the ended of December 2006.
