Canada concludes expiry review on carbon welded steel pipe from China-The 25th China (Guangzhou) Int'l Tube & Pipe Processing Equipment Exhibition

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has announced that it has concluded the expiry review against the antidumping andcountervailing duties on certain carbon welded steel pipe from China.On February 19 this year, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CiTT) had initiated an expiry review of the antidumping andcountervailing duties on the given product, as SteelOrbis reported previously
The CBSA has determined that the expiry of the order is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping andsubsidizing of such goods from China.
The ClTT wil now conduct an inguiry to determine whether the expiny of its order is likely to result in iniury to the Canadian industryand will issue its decision no later than December 24, 2024
Also, the CBSA will issue a statement of reasons within 15 days
The products under review currently fall under Harmonized System (HS) tariff classification numbers 7306 30.00.10. 7306 30.00 20and 7306.30.00.30.
