The DB 622-CNC t-bend mandrel bending machine from transfluid® is a fully automatic system for tube processing. The unit, which has no corners or edges, is completely encased in a round design. The compact design and integrated safety housing around the machine allow operation with a separate safety apparatus.
The machine can be programmed without specific CNC knowledge using touch-panel control, allowing bending of 0.87- by 0.08-in. round steel tubes, 0.87- by 0.06-in. stainless steel tube, and 0.63- by 0.06-in. square tubes.
Mandrel support helps ensure precise placement of the mandrel tip. A radii changer enables two changes of the processing level and allows processing of tube with alternating form spanners or spanners. The maximum change height is about 2.36 in., and the radii difference between the levels is 1.5xD.
The control system works with three individual axes for bending, turning, and length positioning. Once the bending data has been entered, the bending program is generated automatically but also can be manually optimized during operation. One bending process can be split into several segments to help achieve different speeds on one arc. Servo axis speeds are synchronized automatically to each other to help minimize wear and power consumption.
