On june 19, Taiwan CSC held a pricing meeting for Q3 2025, and has reducedthe prices of all steel products, except for steel plate products, which will remainflat. The price of wire rod has been reduced by NT$800/ton, and the price ofautomotive materials has been reduced by NT$500/ton.
According to Taiwan CSC, as the U.S. tariffs continue to cause marketuncertainties, the market sentiment remains conservative. Taiwan''s exportsaffected by the exchange rate are also slowing down. Steel prices in Europe havebeen revised downward due to the off-season, and Asian steel exports have alsoweakened, and the steel market will enter a period of adjustment in the shortterm. Therefore, taking into account the weakening demand in the global steelmarket and the related policy disruptions, in order to timely assist customers inobtaining orders, Taiwan CSC has lowered the prices of most of the steelproducts and will also provide customers with a variety of solutions based on thedifferent attributes of their industries to help them face market challenges.
