It is understood that South Korean hot-dip galvanized steel plate market demand in the next year, but the two major blast furnace producers continued to increase CGL production line and expand equipment capacity, which would lead to market oversupply phenomenon, so that the competition between steel mills were more intense.
According to the Korean Iron and Steel Association 2016 statistics showed that the South Korean hot-dip galvanized steel plate annual capacity was about 10.035 million tons, this year would expect to increase to 10.5 million, increased by nearly 500,000 tons compared with the same period of last year. It was expected next year would come to 11 million tons and the equipment capacity has continued to expand.
