Report of The 13th Guangzhou International Metal & Metallurgy Exhibition
The 13th China(Guangzhou) International Metal & Metallurgy Exhibition has been grandly held in Area A of the Pazhou Complex of the Canton Fair on June, 19th 2012. The exhibition lasted three days. China(Guangzhou) International Metal & Metallurgy Exhibition is a metal & metallurgy exhibition dedicatedly organized by the Guangzhou Julang Exhibition Co., Ltd. The Exhibition has been held for 13 years and with its past 12 years’ precipitation and accumulation as well as the geographical advantages of the Pazhou Complex, the present Guangzhou International Metal & Metallurgy Exhibition has already doubtlessly become one of China’s most influential metal metallurgy exhibitions.
The exhibiting scope of the Exhibition mainly includes metal plate, bar & wire, stainless steel, springs, fastener, casting, foundry, heat treatment furnace and sheet metal forging. The leading corporations of various industries all take part in this exhibition, including large steel enterprises such as Baoshan Iron and Steel Plant, Taiyuan Iron and Steel Co. , and Anshan Iron and Steel Co.; famous corporations of the casting industry such as Hongtu and Wencan; the representative of the die-casting machine industry is LK; the sheet metal industry are Sutor, Shandong Guanzhou Co., Ltd., Quantong, Huanmei, Tangrong, Yingkou Panpan; the stainless industry has the Hongri, Runtai, Yongda; the fastener exhibition is hosted by Guangdong Fastener Association together with Wenzhou Fastener Association and other four major Associations; strength enterprises are Chunyu, Jiancai, Japan Qitian and so on; the spring exhibition has become the world largest one; sheet metal forging industry has Chongduan, Jiangdong, Zhengang and so on. We believe that with the participation of all those great enterprises, the visitors won’t regret their tour here. Surely, in order to guarantee that the visitors can receive the expected effect, the organizers also have made sufficient preparations in the advertisement to attract more visitors and buyers.
With regard to the domestic trade enterprises, this year’s exhibition will cooperate with the ccwcw.com to hold the on-spot purchasing exchange and will invite many purchasers to place orders directly face to face with the exhibitors. Meanwhile, the organizers will also work with the China construction project information net, thus acquiring a large number of running engineering projects that pass the approval, which will be provided to the visitors and help them to solve the problems in searching for clients and projects. As to the visitors, the organizers will invite a large quantity of professional purchasers by adopting the way to cooperate with the local association and the industrial media as well as to provide the industrial purchasers with free accommodation.
While for the foreign trade part, the organizers have followed the directional advice of president Huo Jianguo of the International Economic and Trade Cooperation Research Institute of the Commerce Department. That is, when cooperating with the worldwide industrial media, they should also develop the potential clients of high quality in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Middle East area. In this year’s exhibition, the organizers will not only make one-on-one invitations to the purchasers from Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand though the Singapore commercial pairing leading enterprise Socialwalk, but also will work with the world famous B2B website tradekey.com and will make special invitations to the Middle East and North America areas.
Although we have tried our best to make good preparation for this expo, this year we didn’t make the expo good as expected. According to the stagnant global market, most domestic international trade companies, especially the manufacturers, truned their business to domestic market. This action led to a very fierce competition in domestic industrial market. Most compaies are eager to search for new customers but without enough budget to make good promotion. We hope we could do our best to help those companies out of this dilemma in next year.
