Global crude steel production increases by 5.9% y-o-y in Oct-The 19th China (Guangzhou ) Int’l Casting product Exhibition

According to the data released by the World Steel Association (WSA) on November 23rd, the production of global crude steel in the statistics was 145.3 million tons in October, increasing by 5.9% from the same period of last year.
Among them, the crude steel production of China was 72.4 million tons, up by 6.1% year on year; that of Japan was 9 million tons, down by 1% year on year; that of India was 8.6 million tons, up by 5.3% year on year; that of Turkey was 3.3 million tons, up by 11.1% year on year; that of the United States was 7 million tons, up by 12% year on year; that of Brazil was 3 million tons, up by 3.9% year on year.
Among EU countries, the crude steel production of Italy was 2.3 million tons, rising by 6.1% from the same period a year earlier; that of France was 1.4 million tons, climbing by 1.6% from the same period of the previous year; that of Spain was 1.3 million tons, increasing by 11.9% from the same period of last year.
