Newly developed STELEX ZR ULTRA finer porosity, framed zirconia ceramic foam filters offer customers high filtration efficiency, excellent flow rates, low friability and consistent application performance. These filters are ideally suited to the investment casting sector where casting quality demands are at their highest.
A broad range of one-shot liners and backup crucibles provide investment casters who melt and pour under vacuum improved reliability, product quality and process efficiency. They are ideally suited for nickel and cobalt based superalloys. The single use liner eliminates the risk of cross-contamination of alloys, and the smooth melting and pouring surfaces minimise the development of inclusions in the melt.
FERRUX hot topping materials are applied to the pouring cup to extend the time that the metal is molten in the cup and provide superior insulation throughout solidification. Speciality products are formulated to ensure minimal metallurgical contamination from tramp elements and carbon and are suitable for application to stainless steels and nickel and cobalt superalloys.
A range of refractory lining systems for ladles and furnaces, ideally suited to the investment sector will also be featured.
